The Y-Type Strainer is an essential pipeline component used to protect valves, pumps, meters, control valves and other sensitive equipment by removing unwanted solid contaminants such as dust, debris, scale and residue from liquid, gas and steam lines.

Thanks to its compact and robust design, the Y-Strainer is ideal for installations with limited space where high mechanical strength and reliable filtration are required. The stainless steel screen element ensures long service life while maintaining low pressure loss across the strainer.

The strainer can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines, provided that the straining chamber is positioned downward. Cleaning and maintenance are simplified by the discharge plug located on the cover, with an optional ball valve connection for easy flushing. The filter screen can be easily replaced by removing the cover.

The epoxy-coated internal and external surfaces provide excellent corrosion resistance, making the Y-Strainer suitable for water, wastewater, seawater and industrial applications. Optional magnetic rod attachment is available for filtration of metallic particles when required.
