The triple function (combination type) air release valve is designed to perform three essential functions within the same body. During pipeline filling, the valve allows large volumes of air to be discharged rapidly, preventing air pockets that could restrict flow or cause pressure fluctuations. As the line becomes pressurized, the valve switches to continuous air release mode, discharging small amounts of accumulated air during normal operation.
During pipeline draining or sudden pressure drops, the valve enables controlled air intake, preventing vacuum formation that could cause pipe collapse or structural damage. This functionality ensures the continuity of flow and protects the pipeline throughout its service life.
