The hydraulic check butterfly valve combines the functions of a hydraulically operated butterfly valve and a hydraulic brake check valve, ensuring smooth, controlled and reliable operation in pumping systems.
The valve is driven by a hydraulic power unit. When the pump starts, the hydraulic system activates the valve and opens it gradually, allowing the pump to start without load, reducing energy consumption and mechanical stress. During pump shutdown, the valve closes in a controlled manner, preventing sudden pressure changes, noise and water hammer effects.
This pulse-free and noise-free operating principle significantly extends the service life of pumps, pipelines and associated equipment. The hydraulic braking system ensures precise control of opening and closing speeds, even in large-diameter transmission lines.
The valve is manufactured with a double flanged body and is suitable for high-capacity water transmission networks. It is coated with electrostatic powder epoxy or thermoplastic coating, providing excellent corrosion protection for long-term service in water applications.
